It's probably a good idea to announce your IRC channel on the Construction Set Forum. There are not many people who look in the links section of the Wiki, especially because it's really empty. When posting a thread it helps when you ask for input of some sorts, that will help to keep your thread on the front page. If you only announce your IRC channel and leave it at that it will sink to the bottom faster than you can say chatspike.net.

Also, the tutorial on the official mIRC page is shorter and more to the point, linking to a long piece of text will most likely put people off. I know it's not that long, but it has too much information for someone who only wants to join the #esmod channel. People interested in mIRC will look for more information themselves.

This is the first link I've ever made on this Wiki so I'm not good at it. I'm just hoping that everything will be alright. The reason it's quite a long tutorial (for such a little thing) is because I didn't want people to get it and think "How do I do this then?" Thanks for the input though Qazaaq!
