Talk:List of function appearances in scripts
Reduction?[edit source]
This page is over 200k in size ... i think it would be wise if we'd reduce that somehow. perhaps if we get rid of the list , and include it in the functions themselfs ? Vvenaya 10:10, 15 April 2006 (EDT)
Ok i will handle this task ... i have quite some free time tonight ( I am an IT guard with night duty , so i got plenty of time to keep me busy with this sorta thing ) Vvenaya 10:13, 15 April 2006 (EDT)
I'd prefer the appearance-lists to be on separate pages (like "Activate_apearances") I have no use for it anyway, the editor has a search function.--JOG 10:47, 15 April 2006 (EDT)
eh so you want SEPERATE "Appearance" pages for each of the 353 functions ? I do not see any logic in that. And as to your "I have no use for it" .. good think a wiki is a creation of a collective , not from an individual. Vvenaya 13:03, 15 April 2006 (EDT)
v1.2[edit source]
Has anyone looked at these lists compared to v1.2? I wonder if they're the same (for that matter, how was this list compiled anyway?)--Haama 18:57, 27 March 2008 (EDT)
Deletion[edit source]
Proposed for Deletion. --Wrye
- I write a lot of scripts first without TESCS, so I rely on this list sometimes to find example scripts for various functions. Please do not delete it. Thanks! --dev_akm 14:06, 6 June 2008 (EDT)
- Feh. Okay. Cleaned up formatting though. If you prefer old formatting, just revert. --Wrye 19:28, 6 June 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks! The new formatting is much better. --dev_akm 19:29, 9 June 2008 (EDT)
Incorrect[edit source]
The list seems incorrect to me. Though I just can't prove it at the moment, I doubt that for example disable appears in CSecretDoor01SCRIPT, since it just wouldn't fit the script's intention. I guess the list was created by using the find text-function of the CS and searching those script commands. Disable of course also appears in disableLinkedPathPoints or disablePlayerControls. So, a script could be listed twice or even three times.

- With the exception of a few edits last February, this page hasn't been touched since June 2008. Personally, I don't think it was ever a good idea, and I suggest you just use Find Text within the CS to find examples of code use. That should prove more accurate and more useful, since you can actually see the scripts.
