Regarding Ellipses[edit source]

In order to link to a page with periods (or most other forms of punctuation), you need to use URL codes (%20 is a space, %28 and %29 are parentheses, etc). The easiest way to do that is to simply copy the URL from your address bar. While this is a perfectly acceptable location for this guide, I feel it's worthwhile to explain how you might have avoided moving it, in case that is desirable in the future.

Copying the URL from the address bar is in this case not sufficient. The forum software excludes the third full stop from the link. It just sticks it to the end (after the link), even if you post it with url tags. It must be a security measure, although I can't think of something that it would protect against. Replacing that last full stop with the ASCII code (2E), indeed fixes the problem, but instead of letting everyone go through the trouble of finding that out I decided that moving the page is a better solution.

Input[edit source]

Any comments, questions, or changes? --Breave Apr 26, 2006 2:01am EDT

Thanks. I'll pass this around to a couple of the companion mod authors and use it in my own mods. It'll come in very handy. --MegaBurn 20:36, 27 April 2006 (EDT)

Hmmm Trying to get the timing issues settled so the scripts may continue to vary. -- Breave

NPC horse does not seem to fast travel with the NPC.

Hope you find my alternative way interesting. For fast travel (means running for me), you may have to add a running flag to my script, like the sneaking condition. AdiBeiElderScrolls 15:02, 15 November 2006 (EST)

Thanks for your additional input. Cheers! -- Breave

Byline...Huh?[edit source]

What do you need me to do? if anything. I am a wiki nube so I don't really know what you mean by 'byline'.
