Bylined Article

I'm not entirely sure what the byline means, but I am the original author so I assume I can still make changes to the article? The Imperial Dragon 11:15, 8 February 2008 (EST)

Byline (or by-line) is a line that tells who wrote the article. In this case it's the following line:

Tutorial by: The Imperial Dragon

There was decided to actively forbid bylines on articles because they discourage other users from editing. Existing bylines were not removed because this rule wasn't enforced for a long time and it became almost customary to put your name under an article. There's a better summary of the discussion here.

If you remove the byline or give us permission to do so it would be appreciated, but you don't have to.

Whoops! I fell asleep after reading your message and forgot to reply. I'll remove the byline. If someone wants to improve this article even slightly, they should go right ahead and do so.
