Hey, sorry to do this man, but you can't use the Wiki as an image host; I'll have to have that pic deleted. Unfortunately, since you can't include external images, that means no personal images in your userpage. Beth's rules, not mine - I'd like to do it too. Just thought I should give you a head's up.

Help[edit source]

I been following all the tutorials on making mods here but no matter what I make or change I cannot see them in the game. I even tried dublicating a race and just changing the name and it's still not showing up in the game. I checked the esp in data files so what am I doing wrong? --Mightylink 14:50, 23 March 2008 (EDT)

The Talk page of the Community Portal is not the appropriate place for questions - usually questions should either go on the Talk page of the tutorial you were reading, if you don't understand something in the tutorial, or on the Forums if you're just having general trouble.
Also, when asking questions, please try to give as much information as possible. Based on your description, I cannot tell you what is wrong with what you did. Some things to check, however: Make sure you have the latest version of Oblivion - you can find the patch here. You need v1.2 in order to use plugins made with v1.2 of the construction set. If you have the latest version of the patch, then open up your plugin in the CS (make sure to mark it Active) and make sure your changes were saved correctly. If they were saved correctly but you are not seeing the changes in game (and you did activate the esp in the launcher), then I do not know what's going wrong - try the forums. If the changes were not saved correctly, then we need to know exactly what you did so we can tell you what went wrong - and that information should go on the forum.
The Wiki is not the place for questions about modding because the forum is far more efficient - there are more people, things are quicker, etc etc. The Wiki is a guide and a manual, and questions here should be restricted to "I don't understand xyz" or "I can't find information on abc". When you do post questions, or comment on any Talk page, please sign your name with ~~~~, and use indentation with :'s. Thank you.

Sorry about the wrong place to post, I could not find a forum link anywhere untill you gave it to me, I will move my problems there and return this wiki page back to the way it was.

Already did that, don't worry about it. Good luck on your mod.

Hey sorry to bother you again but I was hoping if there was anything or maby a favor you can do for me. I am a dialup user and I do most of my modding offline, is there a way I can get a zip file of all the pages in here: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/List_of_Functions or another page you can link me to showing all the functions on 1 page?

That's gonna be very hard to do manually. You search Google for some program that'll do it for you, because there's no other real way to do it. Sorry.

OK, well, this was suggested by a user quite a long time ago when this issue came up before. I cannot vouch for it (never used it), but it may be useful for you.
