Your question will be answered when someone who knows the answer has time. It looks to me like you either didn't save the file correctly, or you didn't enable it in the launcher.

Phoenixnyt 19:18, 4 June 2007 (EDT): Sorry about the title. I was a little impatient on this one because I was so excited to finally know how to do something in modding for myself (previously I had only downloaded mods) and was leaving for a summer camp later that day. I wanted to mod some before I left, and I couldn't (or so I thought). What I was editing was a companion mod, so after posting that, I went on tessource and found a different companion mod to customize, and it worked just fine.
