i'm new here, new to modding. looking for help to do machinima.

Well, that will likely involve a lot of AI and Scripting work, so I'd suggest starting there.

Not sure how much anyone here does machinima, so I'm not sure we can really offer any specific help, unfortunately. But if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

You responded mostly appropriately - it is common for Wiki users to write on each other's Talk pages as you did. Some keep the conversation in one place, some go back and forth, so that one person is always writing on the other's page - either is fine. The two key things are that you should make your own heading for your comment at the bottom of the page (a level 2 heading is normal), and sign the comment with ~~~~. Using colons to indent (as I have) also makes things easier to read.
